2022/2023 Michael Taiwo Scholarships for International Students

Application for the 2022 Michael Taiwo scholarship is now available for undergraduates and graduate students willing to pursue and further their studies abroad.

When it was first introduced in October 1st, 2019, between 100 and 150 applications were expected. Instead in just a week, over 1000 applications were received. The Michael Taiwo scholarship aims to provide prospective applicants to universities abroad with financial aid to enroll for proficiency standard test scores required to study in UK, USA and many more European and Australian countries.

The Michael Taiwo also provides mentoring for motivated and bright students from poor societies to pursue world-class graduate education.

Targeted Students for the Scholarships 

The 2022 Michael Taiwo scholarships is open to all final year students in Nigerian Universities and recent graduates.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Ideal candidates must have a minimum CGPA of 4.0 in a 5-point system(or equivalent CGPA if not based on a five point scale) or in the case of final year students, have such a CGPA as at the end of the penultimate year.
• An application is review holistically and hence, all eligible candidates are to apply.

To apply, candidates must submit the following documents;

• Application form
• Academic transcripts
• Personal statements (Essay)
• Academic Curriculum Vitae
  Letter(s) of recommendation

Note: that the academic transcripts will be requested and verified before any award is made.

Method of Application 

The 2022 application window will run from 8:00AM PST August 31st to 8:00AM PST September 9th.
